Fun With Meryl
If you look at Meryl in first person view or with the Scope, she will turn red and shyly ask you what you are doing.
If you attack Meryl, she will attack you back.

Message from Director Kojima
During the Psycho Mantis battle, he will read the contents of your memory card and tell you what Konami games you've played. Furthermore, if in the card are save files of Policenauts or Snatchers, a special message from Director Kojima will appear thanking you for your patronage.

Item Reappearance
After picking up an item, move 3 maps, and the item will reappear.

Enemy Placement Change
After the 2nd playthrough, enemy placements will be changed. During difficulty selection, simultaneously press L2 & R2, and enemy placement will return to default.

No Fear of Wolves
When in the caves with Meryl and the little wolf, punch Meryl and quickly equip the Cardboard Box. The little wolf will pee on the Cardboard Box. Because of the scent of the pee, when you encounter wolves, equip the Cardboard Box and the wolves will think you're one of them and not attack you.

Easily Fight Wolf
During the second battle with Wolf in the snow field, go to the right edge of the map, there is an area here where Wolf's attack can not get to you. Attack Wolf from here using the Nikita and the battle can be won easily.

Make Use of Trucks
Get on the back of trucks and equip the Cardboard Box, and the truck will transport you as cargo. Destination differs depending on which Cardboard Box is equipped.

Special Items
Give in to Ocelot's torture to receive the Stealth Camouflage. Don't give in to receive the Unlimited Bandana. Also during the 2nd game after game clear you will also have a Camera.

Mantis First Person View
During the Psycho Mantis battle, go into first person view to look through the eyes of Psycho Mantis.

Despicable Snake
When Sniper Wolf shoots at Meryl, if Snake also shoot Meryl, the Colonel and Naomi will get angry at Snake.

Scare Otacon
During the Cyborg Ninja battle, knock on the locker in which Otacon is hiding, Otacon will cry out in fear.

Scare Johnny
During the escape from solitary confinement, don't kill the enemy guard soldier. When you reach the torture room, he will go into the toilet. Knock on the toilet door and Johnny will make sounds from within.

Don't Give Her Time
When finding Meryl in disguise, follow her into the women's bathroom closely, Meryl will appear in the cutscene in her underwear. There wasn't enough time for her to put on her pants.

Additional Outfit
In MGS Integral, get both the Meryl and Otacon endings, then start a new game. Snake will be wearing a tuxedo, and Meryl will be wearing a sneaking suit.

Secret Frequencies
140.07 - staff commentary. 140.66 - unused music. These frequencies can only be accessed in certain areas, such as the snow field and path to the communication towers.

HIDEO
When playing with the Pocket Station, if you leave it untouched for around 1 minute the screen will turn into the Psycho Mantis "HIDEO" screen. Press the Start button return the screen to normal.

Mei Ling Tongue
Repeatedly call Mei Ling and select "Don't Save", she will eventually get angry and say "ようもないのに呼ばないでよ Don't keep calling for no purpose". Then next time you call her she will stick her tongue out at you.

Kill Baker
Stand at the entrance of the room Kenneth Baker is being held by Ocelot, you can attach Baker from here. If you kill him, Ocelot will say "馬鹿がー！ Stupid~!" and then it's Game Over.

Liquid Barrier
Before the Metal Gear Rex battle, right before the cutscene where Snake and Liquid has their conversation, if you peak out of the control room you can see Liquid standing next to Rex holding a pose. If you shoot at him with the PSG-1 or Stinger, he will not get hurt.

Shoot Rats
During the first Wolf battle, above where Wolf is there are some rats running around on the railings, if you shoot the rats, Colonel will get angry at Snake.

Snake Commentary
During the Metal Gear Rex battle, when Rex has Cyborg Ninja captured, if you fire the Stinger Snake will say "俺には撃てない… I can't shoot it…", if you have no Stinger missiles left Snake will say "弾がない… Out of missiles…"
